The joy of eloping in Northern Ireland in the fall

Autumn here is beautiful, the sun does something magical while the landscape changes hues, but doesn’t lose that green essence. Yes it can be windy, yes it can be chilly, yes it can rain but as Brittney and Devin proved a lil rain doesn’t hurt anyone and a damn good amount of wind just adds to the epicness!

Massive shout out to Brittney for not only braving the most insane weather but all while building a tiny human!!

it was an absolute pleasure getting to work with my buddy Adam from Skylar & Wild on this elopement

Planning an Autumn elopement here are a few things that Brittney and Devin chose to do :

the couple chose to get ready with their best friends and witness in a local air bnb, this meant they didn’t have to stress about a long journey to Dunluce Castle for their ceremony

They had a beautiful intimate handfasting ceremony on the cliff edges at Dunluce Castle conducted by the lovely Owen from Irish Elopements

Brittney knew the weather could be a little colder so she chose to add a textured blanket to keep the chill of her while still fitting in with the aesthetic of their elopement

Visiting locations was high on the priority list so we also visited Dunseverick Castle, The Giants Causeway and finished with a quick stop at the Dark Hedges
